Rich palate, ripe and quite hefty, medium/full body, lots of presence on the mid-palate. Lots of malo-derived flavours, ripe yellow fruit that’s also lifted by the oak in a worked style. Rather golden for a young Chablis. Malolactic apparent in the nose. Nicely made, no oak. Not much of the expected minerality from Chablis. Rather soft. Due to the vintage? Due to climate change? If tasted blind, I would have guessed it a Mâcon. Very good everyday Chardonnay.
