Purchased in Mendoza in early 2019. Bottle # 1,394 of 4,000. 86% cab sauv and 14% petit Verdot. Purchased blind because we bought a painted OWC box from this bottling 🤷. Slow ox’d for an hour before dinner. Pours quite dark, nose has loads of dark cherry, forest and some oak. The oak is present on the first sip but mostly integrated. Fantastic wine. Pairing with a beef roast was a better match than pasta. Finished the bottle 3 days after opening, preserved with a Vacu Vin. Wish I had more.
