Domaine Lucien Jacob Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Peuillets

Not quite as textural as the '14 that I had a few months back, but still a very nice wine. Sweet red berry fruits and a cooling herbal note. Plenty of stony minerality on the finish. 91-92 for now, but I suspect there's plenty of improvement ahead.

Upon a chalky base play fresh flowers and sweet berry and cherry fruits. It is complex and fine and absolutely delicious. The cool, stony minerality delivers a bright, energetic finish.
