Muller-Catoir, Haardter Riesling, Pfalz

Light yellow color: Typical freshness but just tuned down a notch. Pineapple and wet stone. Very good typicity. Ideal terrace wine. Very good length and expression. Bone-dry at 12.5% alc. It tastes very natural.

Ortswein mit 12,5% Leicht angereifte Farbe, aber noch recht hell. Was sagt die Nase? Mandel/Marzipan, Mirabellenmarmelade, leicht chem. Touch, insgesamt bedeckt/zurückhaltend. Im Mund dann knackige Säure, leichtes Bitter/Phenol, einen Hauch Mandel/Marzipan, Williamsbirnenschnaps, gelber Apfel, auch reife Erdbeere, der Fruchtkorb wird vom Säuregerüst gut im Schach gehalten, im Abgang dann ein Hauch Petersilie (?). Nicht übermäßig lang. Mit Temperatur deutlicher im Alkohol, ein bisschen Zucker ist sicher vorhanden. Insgesamt gut.

Way more balanced with a year extra in the bottle, but still pretty meh. Not my favorite Riesling by any means

off dry with medium body. Tropical fruits flavors along with some minerality

Fruity and dry. In the nose some flint and a little rose aroma. Flint and grapefruit at the palate. Melty in the mouth with long finish. Very good with chutney chicken and mint yoghurt.

Pale lemon colour. Medium and youthful nose with green apples, lemon, honeysuckle, flint and wet stone. Medium taste of green apples, lemon, white peach and wet stone. Medium (+) long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium (-) body. A very good Riesling. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Goes well with fish or shellfish.
