Loimer Pinot Noir Terrassen

Drank over two days. Loimers PNs, like many Austrian and German PNs/Spätburgunders, have a fruit base very much in front made up of a mix of dried strawberries, rosemary, chalk, white pepper and roses (heavy on the nose). It is hard to define but very familiar once encountered. This bottle was heavily influenced by said base - not flawed, but hard to come to terms with.
