PnP first night then tasted again the next night. Slightly better night 2. Mesquite, olive brine, blackberry, wet stone. Drinking well but no rush.

Fantastic Pinot. This is drinking really well right now but will only improve over next 5 years. Dark red fruit, spice, and nots of green tea. 93 points.

This bottle had a beautiful transformation between PNP and day two. PNP was a bit modern with plush yet balanced fruit. Oak very much present. Day two offered a completely different experience with added depth and complexity that I wouldn't have expected based on initial approach. This was easily a 94+ experience for a domestic Syrah.

Day 1: This is a bit tight but what would you expect from a wine of this caliber from a vineyard of this caliber. Will be doing the full 4 day review on this one. Black pepper, spice, blackberries, coffee beans, dust, minerals and black olives. Everything is here to blossom in a few days. No score. Day 2: A perfect example of a wine that needed time to open up. Roasted meats, black pepper, spices, dark fruits, tar, earth …

Dark spice, tea, pepper, and bing cherry nose. Translucent, dark ruby color, elegantly packed with red berry fruit. Terrific with or without food now, or over the next 5 yrs.

Inky in color with a short purplish rim. Fruity nose of red and black fruits with tobacco, oak, licorice, light vanilla, smoke, chocolates, barnyard and light herbs. Full-bodied and smooth with medium plus acidity and fat legs. Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco, chocolates, light vegetables, coffee, light cola and peppercorn. Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries. This young Syrah from Oregon is already drinking nicely, but …

Delightful. I'd echo two aspects similar to what "Bellisimo" noted: 1) at 12.5% ABV, sipping this was easy, as was moving on to other things in the evening without the alcohol after effects, and 2) the "difficult" and/or cooler vintage yielded great results here. Light in color, it had a beautiful nose of black cherry and light earthy forest. On the palate, it was elegant in both texture and taste. Supportive acids helped it with food, and it was a …

PnP, consumed over several hours this shows lots of high toned fruits (raspberry, cranberry, pomegranate) over a bed of forest floor. Great acids up front, pleasant integrated tannins bringing up the rear. Plenty of life left in this. Oh how I like cooler vintages from the Willamette Valley. This clocks in at 12.5% ABV and is just so nicely in check. Another winner from the 2011 vintage.

Cherry cola, lots of fruit. Light alcohol, noticeable acid, really terrific. They make great wine.

Light ruby color. Nose of white pepper and dark cherry. Tasting both fruit and little forest floor. Drinking really well and remarkably balanced for such a young Oregon pinot.
