Domaine Sylvain Langoureau Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Sur le Sentier du Clou Blanc

This seems to be at peak. The color has progressed to a deep hay and the balance is there both on nose and palate. This is definitely on the richer side of St Aubin.

Outstanding wine. Ready for consumption. Lovely nose of citrus and pear. Full and fruity, with good acid to give it backbone. Luscious wine. Lingers on the palette with a perfect balance of flint minerality, fruit and ever so slight vanilla.

Medium golden straw in color. Bright, lively, and quite generous and rich — but all is in balance, supported by nice acid backbone. Very enjoyable over six nights, gassed in between.

Intense fruit aromas of pear, melon, papaya. Some honey and floral notes. Rich dark yellow fruit, with a touch of ginger. Strong stuff, not sure if this is my taste but I'm sure some will love it. My guess is this will last a few more years, will try another bottle in two years.

Always a please to drink St Aubin Remilly: honey, papaya, white peach, tropical fruit, butter, citrus, nice balanced long finish.

Bottle opening: The fresh fruit aroma represented by sour oranges, accompanied by the taste of maltose, corn and nuts, has a strong sense of volume, perfect for appetizer. The aftertaste is relatively long. Sipping a slight cucumber flavor. After 8H refrigerator, round and structured acidity but aroma left, which is approachable but slightly boring. Quite a bargain in Côte d'Or. Maybe two years cellaring will solve the partially unapproachable beginning.

A tad young, will improve with a few more years in the cellar: apricot, tropical fruit, papaya, honey, peach, Remilly is a great plot in St Aubin, medium round, long strong aftertaste.

Label said 15.3% ABV, wonder if that was just to get around the old tariffs because I did not get any heat! No notes, this was solid white burg but not super memorable
