Deep, dark purple. Berry with earthiness at end. Quick decant and drank. Great alone, but really popped with the food - roast lamb, brussel sprouts and mashed potatos with truffle salt. Everyone loved it.

Big soft fruit on the nose. Dark cherries and plums. A nice stoniness. Herbal hints. Tight tannins initially. Let it sit for an hour, and wow. It really opened up. Velvety smooth with great tannin integration. Dark, smokiness to the fruit. A little bit of the garrigue note. A really long finish of baked berries and a bit of clove. Delicious and remarkably food friendly.
