Just down right awful.... Maybe the wine was bad? had a VERY funny back end after taste. Nothing here worth having again that I could tell...

I found the rich nose, oak and dark fruit on the palate and nice, velvet tannins with a long finish. Acid was missing, however, rendering the wine flat to my taste. A great value and great for our "'rounder" guests.

This is a big wine that needs some time to settle down. There is a nice fruit to tannin ratio. Good dark deep flavors of dark berries and vanilla oak. In a five to eight years this could be killer. ($16)

Purple Welch's grape juice color . . . yeast and cherry on the nose. Good balance, flavors of licorice, vanilla and toast. For $10, I call it a win. Salud!

one of the best argentine wines I´ve tasted so far. Considering the price of course (roughly us 25 in an argentinian supermarket). Balanced, strong. not much oak

Still pleasant. Gained more structure on the second night.

Tannins people are mentioning are more or less gone by now. The wine is not super acidic and also not hot. On the other hand it does not have the fantastic nose that showed up in the WS review. This is your middle of the road, perfectly fine Malbec, but nothing more.

Fairly tight on the nose, not a lot of fruit at all. Somewhat flat, not offensive for the price but definitely not a re-buy.

This is perfectly fine wine. At $10, I simply see nothing wrong with this wine. But of course, one could spenda tad bit more and get a tad bit more.

Paid only $10 but still fell I got ripped off. This wine is simply not very good. It has some attributes of good wines but fails to integrate them. On the nose it has chocolate and 'fake fruit' like Gatoraide fruit punch powder before you mix with water. The really bad thing about the nose is it's really hot... I mean enough to curl the hair in your nose. My the mouth it's rather empty given the dominant nose, some …

I am clearly not a fan of this one. It was a bit better than the first bottle, but not something I would buy again. Simply put, not a wine to my taste.

Drank over two nights. Delicious on the second night. Chocolate and cherries. Not overly complex, but an amazing QPR. Highly Recommend.

Nose of grape jelly and graphite. Not bad, concentrated grapes, hollow midpalate, short to medium finish. Pretty one dimensional. Better win can be found for the same price.

No formal notes. Not too impressed. A little fruit, kinda hot, some oak. There are better malbecs out there....even at $11.

Ripe and concentrated. Oak, blackberry and prunes on the nose. Nice attack. Disjointed finish with some heat and bitterness. Drying oaky tannins linger as well. Acidity is nicely balanced, but it doesn't really come together despite some nice qualities. Decent for the price and standard Malbec/Argentina qualities for the price.

The nose had lots of licorice, plus some cherry, dirt, and a touch of cedar. The palate also had loads of licorice, along with dirt, spice, and a nice cherry finish.

Pretty nice wine for the price. The nose has wonderful bright fruits with leather, cedar, tobacco coming through. In the mouth there's raspberries and cherries with tight taninns and slight hints of citrus. Finishes a bit tight and bitter. Probably should sit another 10-18 months. Remember, you don't drink the label.

Pop and Pour....Beautiful nose of red fruit and floral bouquet. Silky wine with red fruit flavor profile but rather one dimensional. Mid palate was hollow and found the wine a bit tannic (chalky) which should soften up in a year or so. A very good Thursday night pizza wine and at $10 a great value. Looking to pick up a few more bottles.

Very good, dark color, fruit on the nose and palate, savory on the finish, not over oaked or over dry. Held up well for a few days.

Very nice nose with licorice, burnt wood, ripe cherry. Flavor profile starts with silky cherry, licorice, and the fruit explodes in the mid-palate. Smooth tannins, and a pretty spicy mint on the very end of the finish.

Purple. Bit of sulfer, oak on the nose, dried fruit. Dry oak mid palate after an unremarkable and weird front, I am pckering in an oaky tannic bomb, with out much hope that what ever fruit is here will find it's way. yuck.

I opened this three nights ago and drank half and put the cork in it and did not revist it till tonight. The tannins have resolved and this wine has fleshed out into a very nice wine. Have two bottles left and plan on holding one for at least two more years.

pop and pour. better than last bottle, a bit raisiny, but with a better midpalate and longer finish. Tannins are prominent and a bit chalky. Could use time or a decant. 1/2 bottle saved. better on day two, although still tannic and youthful. I would upgrade this to an 86-87 with potential upside with a year or 2 in bottle.

Tight from the start, opened and left on the counter for 4 hours so it could breath slowly. Nice but nothing great, hollow mid palate but not expecting brilliance at this price point. Fine on its own but better with red meat. Drink now, with a few hour slow ox decante or an hour in a decanter, or hold for the next few years.

Awful, finallypoured it down the drain. Had 2 people tell me it was undrinkable. Tried it on day 2 and no noticeable improvement. Will let my second bottle sit for quite a while.

Dark garnet. Nice legs in the glass. Strange strawberry swizzler stick on the nose, vanilla. Nice rich fruit palate, middle development only, fades away. Oak leather, and tannins remain. OK. Young, but don't see this developing too much.

Loads of green pepper on the nose and palate of this wine. Slightly hot. Probably needed more time open or a few more years in the bottle. Didn't really get to try a lot of this wine but from the sip I had, I wouldn't rebuy.
