Drank this at Lokke last night with a group of wine enthusiasts. Theme of the evening: Wines from Italy, 5 years and older. Purple in colour and wine was decanted for 3 hours prior to consumption. Made of 100% Montepulciano, this wine produced notes of wild violets, ink, black fruits, some dried herbs, cigar box and a faint touch of chocolate.
