perfume on the nose. Clean palate. For a Chablis, we in fact get pomelo (think just sl sweeter than pink grapefruit) with a hint of salinity right at the beginning and on the aftertaste. Not overly intense. Good length. This is far from the steely 'gunflint' of a typical Chablis.

Tasted at a blind practice. Showing a touch of lees yet still fresh and linear. Delicious as per my pervious notes.

Drank over several days. Green apple and saline on the nose and palate. Started tart, finished creamy and a little sour. Good, but not great. Can someone recommend a decent Chablis below $50?

Pleasant wine. Acidity is not aggressive so makes it pleasant to drink. Hints of lemon and chalky characteristics. It has lemon meringue on the finish. It is smooth, easy drinking and pleasant. Not a wow wine and not disappointing. Balanced, simple wine.

Yellow-green color. Lemon peel, citrus and lots of salinity on the nose and palate. As Sid said, tart and pucker are pretty good descriptors. Don't agree, however, that this punches well above its price point. Good, but not great, mid-week quaff.

Highly enjoyable for the Costco price of $25, although it seems to often be priced much higher, between $40-$60?? Not a lot of consistent info on this. Beautiful chard, not a $40 one in my opinion (def not a $60 one) but absolutely lovely for the price I paid and will definitely improve with time. Somewhat "packed-in" nose with lemon, grapefruit, salty seashell tones, white flowers, and the faintest touch of something richer like almond. Not very expressive at this …

As summer comes to a close I am looking forward to some hearty reds yet still have a few chilled whites to taste- here goes as we are having sushi tonight and this Chablis might just fit the bill. It's a medium intensity lemon color with a nice citrus nose compounded with pineapple, blossom and wet stone- it's a steely affair as expected from this region. The palate is crispy with juicy acidity. This Burgundian Chardonnay is a dry wine …
