On the palate, medium to full, dry, earthy, medium plus acidity, soft kitty claw tannins, almost velvety texture. The bottle is almost at peak of maturity. It could develop more but it's about personal taste.

Pop and pour from 375 bottle for causal dinner lasting a mere hour. A multi-faceted aroma shown in that short period. Palate is consistently smooth until last drops. The drinker not in perfect conditions to delineate various elements of this lovely Beaune, it could still stimulate the mind and soothe one's tired body. Good choice for the pariicular occasion.

Drank from a half bottle. The nose had wild berries, red fruit, cedar wood, cinnamon and new French oak. It took an hour in the glass to open up. The palate was sweet, oaky and minty. At this point, the oak element was slightly dominating. With the weight of the wine, given that the oak can integrate with time, this wine will be a lot better with aging.
