Shared with others in a blind wine tasting, 6 Cabs and our Mascota Cab came in 3rd over all. Garnet color, bright nose, light pepper on finish. A little thin for a cab, made to drink earlier than later. Better with food.

It's alright. The body has a healthy volume but there aren't many notes to speak of, beyond some slightly sour floral tones that loose their savor on the back half. Not sure I'd agree with 92 points.

Creme de cassis finished in a well-spiced oak cask. Despite the lacking fruit, at the price point, I can see it being popular amongst cab fans with an affinity towards generous hits of oak cask.
