Great salinity and acidity, interesting fruit.

Notes as before, maybe a bit more wet stone on the nose; getting some honeysuckle in the finish this time. Herb Quady is doing great things in southern Oregon; here's hoping you don't find out about his work - more for me! 88

Drank this last night with friends and thought it was great, but didn't take notes. From memory, I would say that xfactor's review on 9/8/2011 was spot on. The wine is not a big and rich, oaky version of viognier. It's a really well crafted wine in a style that needs to be done more often.

Melon and papaya aromatic bomb. Lychee and steely minerality across palate, little lemon rind, somewhat glycerin. Finish was off-dry, macerated white peach with an ever so brief note of phenol, lingering soft bite of acid that really stays with you. Put this one out there with some food; begs to be enjoyed with appetizers and richer secondi. B/88 = 50/5/11/7/8/7
