this wine will hold on forever. almost no old-notes, bright and delicious, still fruity but well defined, full of elegance. adorable. wish i had more than 1 bottle left. will keep it for another few years.

Opened both the '82 and '86 - out with John and Linda. John and Jill enjoyed the dustiness of the '82 I liked the greater fruit of the '86 - both very nice with our dinner at Basilico.

minor bricking, terrific nose, very nice balance with lovely fruit flavors, bit of sediment yielded to decanting. 1 hr later, coming on very very nicely, wonderful mouthfeel and midpalate, long finish...20 yrs old and the fruits (plums and cherries) are doing fine
