Very nice wine, very drinkable due to its not inconsiderable residual sweetness! Fruity but with a strong touch of roasted note from barrel-aging. Sehr schöner Wein, sehr trinkfreudig durch seine nicht unerhebliche Restsüße! Fruchtig, aber mit einem starken Hauch von Röstnoten aus dem Fassausbau.

Again, better than my previous 2 bottles, which I probably opened too early. Also, much better on day 2, which supports this theory...

1h decant. Liked it a bit better than last January; tertiary and secondary notes seem to have joint together nicely in the meanwhile. Also no sweetish finish this time.

Made from Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon. 12 months in new barriques. 2.5h decant, shorter should be fine as well. Massive cherry palate, oak of course, dark chocolate (Zweigelt!), slightly sweet finish (nougat?, 6.2 g/L RS) and low acidity (4.7 g/L). I quite like it, wife didn't. Falstaff: 94p
