Beautiful wine with a kiss of sweetness, not overly done. Wine of the night!

Very pleasant. Touch of sweetness. Almost like a cherry cough drop. Balanced.

N: IRON, poss some vanilla, with notes of berries (black cherries?); Other unparsables as well P: Med body; VERY RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt balanced by an acidity which picks up astringency early on, though this fairly quickly resolves early on into the LONG, very, VERY slightly tangy finish with notes of bitter/SWT choc (the emphasis CLEARLY being upon the SWT). Nice fruit on both nose and palate (Al says gooseberry...), with good structure, some spice and smoke. Would like to see how it opens over next night.
