A very fine Chardonnay, un-oaked, in the 'old world style' of Chablis. Exceedingly clean & crisp in the glass and like French champaign without bubbles. Of the six wines tasted at the Nottely River Valley Vineyard, this was our favorite!

simple but really enjoyable, good citrus fruit with very fine acid and a slight hint of minerals, well made but perhaps the vines are still young or alternatively the plot hasn't the minerals character, but kudos to the winemaker for achieving such nice acid, a great summer wine

very nice, this had lots of acid and a citrus fruit profile alongside a sweetness (i think some residual sugar in there for sure), this created a big contrast in this wine that was alluring and enjoyed by several of Tiff's book club group

Winery tasting in the CVV caves. Classic Burgundian style without malolactic fermentation. Aged in 100% new oak for 22 months. As expected from the oak aging, this is big with crisp apple, toasty pear, and vanilla/oak. Nice in the mouth leading to a long finish. Based on the oak aging this should last for 8-10 years. Very good.
