This wine is all fruit. Nose full of wild strawberries, explosion of fruit in mouth. However there is not much else, some acidity, but lacks balance and depth. Also if I tasted blind I would not say it is a Rioja Reserva, but rather something from Rhone Valley.

Nose of traditional tempranillo with some dark fruit and forest aromas. Starts out with a sweet red fruit followed by some tartness, like a dried cherry. A decent amount of tannins follow with some additional herbal undertones. This could probably use a couple more years, but I don't know if it will ever fully integrate. Not bad for the price.
