Classic profile with a creamy mouthfeel. Strawberries and cream aromas with ripe raspberry and rhubarb. Yummy and balanced if somewhat pricey.

If this stands out with anything, it is definitely the truckload of reduction on the nose. Anybody that thinks decanting a Pinot is blasphemy should drink this straight from the bottle. Who's laughing now? Comes to life on the palate with concentration on rich black fruit, sweet spices, coffee and some herbs. Medium-bodied, decent weight, long finish.

Medium ruby in color, this wine reveals Asian spices, black cherry, blackberry and anise on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with more black fruits, black tea and vanilla bean. The finish is beautifully balanced with the bright acidity in harmony with the spices and black fruits. 13.5% abv. Purchased for a nicely discounted price of $35US, this is an excellent offering that packs a lot into only 13.5% abv.
