Very dark red to black color, which extends to the nose, that is mainly cassis, other red berries stay shy behind. The palate is medium-to-full, yet simple. Nothing stands out to be remembered. Bought 4 bottles 2022, opened one soon after. The fruit was still vivid there, the taste was round and full, with some spice in the after taste. The peak passed now, imho, the wine is a simple, solid, yet by no means remarkable cabernet sauvignon.

Appearance - dark crimson almost purple colour. Quite opaque, with some legs Nose - intense dark fruits like blackcurrant, blackberries, forest floor, quite herbaceous, and hint of eucalyptus. Palate - quintessential Coonawarra flavours. Blackberries, cassis, herbal notes, liquorice and that minty Eucalyptus. It is full bodied wine, rich in texture and finishes long with bit of spice throughout. Recommend with heavier meats

Fruit-forward, medium-bodied cab sav. Still quite young with some tannin bite. Well integrated French oak, medium to high acid. Blackcurrant, herbaceous, cedar notes. Doesn’t have the characteristic Coonawarra eucalyptus notes, it’s the fruit that stands out here. Good value and a couple of years more will probably do it good.

A very good year for this. Nice dark and red fruit, oak plays only a supporting role, good tannin structure and mouthfeel. Not overdone in any way and very easy and balanced drinking. A high quality quaffer that will go years in the cellar.
