Honey, vanilla, stone fruit and lime. Pop and pour, but would open earlier as it really needs some air to get going. Very good wine and looking forward to seeing this age.

Absolutely fantastic stuff. Surprisingly dense and rich for Alto Adige, this was complex and delicious. Truly impressive stuff!

An extra year in the cellar has settled this down nicely perfect pairing for artichoke appetizer and artichoke ravioli at Piccolo Strada

Agree with critique on blend. Also grip/phenolic. Long finish voluptuous and viscous.

Even the technical note on this wine from the winery does not reveal the blend, it is supposed to be a Chardonnay heavy cuvee but the taste profile is more Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is perfumed, with pineapple fruit notes prominent when first opened. Later come lemon, almonds, a touch of gooseberry and cream crackers. Good texture and quite fresh, still primary. Medium plus body. Drinking now, was better after a few hours with the cork out. Hard to judge …

more yellow in color than previous orange hues from other years there was talk of Gewürztraminer as part of the mix integrated with grapefruit, key lime notes appreciated by all at vinetasters years of life left but don't think my stash will last very long

Balanced, lively, lovely. Pop and pour, we had it with Raclette and it was a smooth compagnion. Has the stuff and the stuffing to be the main dish but also well behaved enough to go along with a variety of food. Well done.

A Mavens Italian wine class with emphasis on Veneto and Alto Adige. I have had an Elena Walch gewurztraminer recently that was just lovely, and this one is equally if not more interesting. Chardonnay with some gewurzt thrown in that provides a little petrol on the nose and some tropical notes. Lean, fragrant and mineral-driven. Really excellent.

In Gotham Bar & Grill NYC. My first since the 2011 at Medlar London in 2015. This is tremendous winemaking - almost ethereal. One of my favourite Italian whites.

Pale yellow color. Lemon and a touch of oak on the nose. Creamy in the mouth with a touch of acidity and a nice finish. Needs to be on the chilly side to give it the right acidity.

Medium yellow. In the nose, the Sauvignon Blanc is the most dominant. There are notes of kiwi, green apple and gooseberry, rose petals as well, some passionfruit, it's quite intense. In the mouth, it's dense, well balanced, silky, dry and long, maybe it's not the last word in character, but it is individual for sure.

Amazing honeysuckle notes when paired with baked brie. Chardonnay notes were present, but did not dominate.

Restaurant 76€. I have tried a few wines from this producer (although never a Chardonnay), and they were superb, so I was confident with this choice. Served just slightly chilled--in fact, the sommelier refused to serve it more than a few degrees cooler than room temperature. Whoa what a nose: lemon drop accentuated with vanilla, I could smell this for a long while. On the palate it was oddly warm but oh so tasty. Liquid velvet with a big mouthfeel …

Tasted blind. Fairly deep yellow. Redolent nose; sea breeze, oysters, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and an odd wet green leaf aspect. A little mustiness underneath the other scents. I was immediately struck with this strong orange zinger tea and lime flavor that weaves from start to finish. Lime palate that is balanced out with honeydew melon and a vegetative flavor. Overall a lot of lime.

Fattening up in the mid palate with some Chardonnay like characteristics. Still has that salt and mineral on the nose from the Gewurtz. And a long finish.

Seemingly getting bigger and fatter while at the same time gaining precision on the palate. On to watch, if not heartly drink through as well. Throughly enjoyed.

Yellow-gold. Apple, pear, lychee, whte rose petals, herbs, pineapple and honey on the nose. Full-bodied but perfectly round, with light sweetness, very rich fruit and balancing acidity. Very long aftertaste. Excellent overall.

Light gold with exuberantly aromatic nose which is like a cross between Gewurztraminer and Condrieu: rose petals, lychee whose exuberant character is balanced by a hint of herbaceousness, also pears, peaches, melons and whatever one might think, amazing complexity in such a fresh-character wine. Palate is generous with medium acidity-just right, rose petals, turkish delight, with some peach, apple and vanilla aromas: a real cornucopia in a dry whole. Finish is lingering, clean and alcohol although 14% is undetectable. I …
