Retrained and a bit old world and wonderfully feminine and precise. Love the Loess Vineyard. 3rd of 3; wish we had more.

Good, not great, with a solid core of syrah flavors but a bit rough in the midpalate and finish. Disappointing considering the tariff and bottle age.

Dark purple ruby with red fruit nose. Dry stone fruits, medium body and fruit, light acid and tannins, somewhat restrained in an old world style. well balanced and drinking nicely with food.

It's been a couple of years since I last tasted this wine. In reviewing my previous notes, nothing has changed so I would drink these up. They're not going to get any better. Cherries & berries with a little hint of spice. Pretty light with characteristics closer to a Pinot than a bold Syrah. Good, not great wine.

Came off as disjointed unbalanced. There was a solid core of black fruit and pepper, but it was out of sync with the tannic bite at the end. Not the experience I expected at this price point. Probably needs more time in the bottle.

Opaque, blood red, with crimson rim. Nose of black fruits, creosote and bacon fat. Mouthfeel is voluptuous, with well integrated tannins. Huge amount of blackberry and currants on the palate. Great mineral component coats the tongue in the midpalate. Finish is nice and clean with good length. I still think this is very young, as the nose is hesitant to emerge.

Have wanted to drink one of my Water's Syrah since tasting at the winery. I really like these Syrah's. This one was good but still needs time. Was a little young. Decanted forabout 3 hours and stated on this one after a couple of other Syrah's (Cline and Miner). Had a big T-bone and this got a little lost. Needs another year or so before I get into the next bottle.
