Trofelia Tasting (Oinoscent) : In the nose the wine shows high intensity, smoky, highly extracted, very ripe red and black fruit, plums, prunes. Palate shows the same profile, dark cherries, prunes, alcohol heat, mineral, high acidity, very fresh long finish

The true dark maraschino cherry, black plum, a bit of root beer, and a dash of vanilla. Enjoyable sipping wine, and I’m not yet getting a lot of complexity. Medium-plus body. Medium acid. Medium tannins with a wet clay texture. Mostly smooth mouthfeel. Could be wrong, and tastes like there were a decent amount of adjustments to the wine. Would enjoy at a large chain restaurant with a limited selection of other wines.
