Château Valandraud Blanc de Valandraud

甜橙、苹果、奶油、青草和一点点花蜜甜味。酸度良好，整体风格属于清冽中带有一些柔和的甜美感，很像清酒追求的境界。目前还没有太多复杂性的演化出现，但未来可期。

Delicious unoaked white bordeaux. Makrut lime, pineapple, serrano.

ESTG does St. Emilion (West Seattle, WA, USA) : Sadly this was corked, but it had a great palate, concentrated, massive.

Very pale straw color. Very expressive nose with orchard fruits, some slight tropical notes, a hint of oak. Medium+ acidity, minerals, some nice herbal notes and then blood orange, white peaches, red apples. Very refined and delicate - very pleasaruble. Ending is long with some oaky notes that are very elegant. Excellent Bordeaux Blanc - I think this will further improve with 3-4 years of cellaring but it’s extremely good already.

Valandraud, St. Emilion : Compared to the 2019 Virginie de Valandraud Blanc, the nose here is muted, with some alcohol aroma masking any other aromas The palate is more vegetal, with grass, lemon verbena leading the charge. This is quite the contrast to the tropical-ish Virginie Blanc. More strait laced here with the Valandraud Blanc. Better with sushi or maybe even spicy yellow curry type dishes. Here you find the prefect mix of rich, creamy-textured, yellow citrus with hints of orange tropical fruits, bright green apple and flowers. Even with all this concentration, there is also a light touch of honeyed sweetness and a blast of racy acidity to keep everything on its toes. 95 Pts
