Decanted for 3 hours prior to consuming. The wine shows a very dark, youthful purple, hefty aromas of crushed over-ripe blueberries, cured meat, vanilla, dried herbs and olives. You can tell that the wine is a full-bodied monster by the way the wine coats the glass- the Cameron nebbiolo in my wife's glass trembles in fear... In the mouth, the wine is well- mouth coating and viscous. Sweet oak, blueberry syrup, green herbs, and vanilla dominate. The finish is long, …

Among the more stunning examples of this favorite cuvée, which inexplicably remains off the radar despite extraordinary and consistent performance over the years. This bottle was drinking in peak form, concentrated and complex, with layers of peppered dark fruit, smoked meat, black olives, bitter chocolate and sweet, fully integrated tannins. Grab one when ever you see it. You will not be disappointed.

Needed a couple hours in a decanter and at hour 3 this was in a good place. Not a typical thick purple Syrah, but a beautiful, elegant wine.

Mix of red and black fruits (cherries are noticeable), smooth, good mouth feel, nicely balanced. Would guess this is near its peak.

Huge peppery nose. Not as concentrated as expected, but excellent Syrah composition of black pepper, spice, rich dark fruits...plums, dates, dried cherry. This was an excellent wine experience from nose to finish.

Extremely rich and concentrated, with very rounded sweet tannins and one of the nicest finishes. Deep ruby, clean and opaque. Very big aromas of black fruits, game, cedar, spice, and mocha, surprisingly bright entry, evolving into tantalizing banquet of sweet plums, raspberries and strawberries, smokey bacon, licorice and sage, finishing with tingling spices and peppers and lingering caramel. Wow.

Minneapolis Wine Club does Worldwide Syrah : Tried with many higher end Syrah wines and one of the top. Concentrated wine with blackberries, spice, floral and cherry. The heat blew off and revealed a massive wine not for the faint of heart.

The most expensive, but not the best. I liked the reserve syrah the best.
