A very appealing wine, though a little hard to describe due to a lack of experience with Côt/Malbec from this region. Pretty red beet color, quite deep. Fine aromatic complexity, showing cinnamon, chocolate covered cherries, mint, a slight confected note, and what seems like a touch of wood. Nice acidity, very fresh, and surprisingly smooth. Charming wine.
