Still tight with green notes of damp grass, clover and violets. Roses and leather too, lots of licorice and caraway seeds. Full bodied and tightly wound, better after a few hours decant. This bottle showed young and fresh. outstanding!

This bottle seemed a little more developed than the bottle about 2 years ago. Decanted at 4pm and tasted over 6 hours with some left for tomorrow. Ever so slightly bricked on the edge. Rose petals, baking spice and cherry on the nose. Slightly tart but not especially tannic especially with a couple hours of air.palate is focused with precise cherry abd blood orange flavors. Decent mineral backbone. Moderate finish. Better with food, very food friendly, including cheeses, Pâté and …

Decanted at 4:30 and tasted over 7 hours. Purchased from a reseller of other people’d cellars. Very dry cork that crumbled on opening. Youthful garnet colored. Earthy nose with cherry, cranberry and licorice. Well structured and vigorous. Bright acidity and mostly integrated tannins. Slightly short on the finish or this would be a good deal higher rated IMO. There is still the potential for positive development. By no means over the hill.
