Old golden color, on nose apricots and minerals. On palate first there is some "sweetness" then it turns completely dry (no wonder at 1g/l residual sugar), quite earthy and mineral. Bordering austerity. Has good mouthfeel and middle weight; good balance. Finish is a maybe a tad short. Typical Silvaner aromas with stone minerals and fruit stones. Light and soft in the mouth, with some alcohol notes. Pure fruit. Performed better than the previous bottle.

Mature golden color, incredible bouquet: fully ripe pears and cox orange apples - a delight on palate mellow and round, with good minerality, touch of lively but well integrated acidity A pleasure to drink. This wine is probably at the height of its potential and development.

Typical Silvaner aromas with minerals and fruit stones. Light and soft in the mouth. Low concentration and a short finish. Seems from Bandreas' notes that this has been better.

Deep golden color, fragrant nose: peaches, apricot; juicy, harmonious and round. On palate good mouthfeel, good acidity level with a hint of sweetness (coming from the fruit, not residual sugar since the wine only has appr. 1g/l of sugar) Not a very long finish but a enough complexity to make it delicious and interesting.

Mature golden color, on nose finely grained fruit, some cowslip, caramel, well balanced on palate a wonderful medley of acidity, minerality and Silvaner fruit. Broad and profound without being clumsy, taste sensation has some sweetness even though the residual sugar is 1.4g/l. Long finish. A well made, well balanced wine that is probably at the height of its power now.

Schöne altgoldene Farbe, auf der Nase reife Frucht: Birne, Anklang von Quitte; voll, reif und saftig. Mann könnte immerfort die Nase in's Glas stecken... Der Eindruck setzt sich auf dem Gaumen fort: Ein voll entwickelter, sauberer und saftiger Wein. Auf dem Höhepunkt seiner Kraft und seiner Entwicklung. Vollmundig, guter Nachhall mit gut abgepufferter und reifer Säure. Mit einem Restzuckergehalt von 0.1g/l ist dieser Wein der lebende Beweis, dass es auch ohne künstliche Aufzuckerung geht!
