Four years in, this is still fresh and resilient. Actually the deepest red color I have ever seen in a Rosè. Pretty strawberries in the nose, and a palate that frames its excellent fruit with a still-strong acid backbone. I love this region and producer for its fine reds, too. 5-12-16-8: 91/100.

Holding strong. Amazing complexity of fragrance and flavor in a pink / light red wine.

Bottle off the list over dinner at Proof Pizza. Appearance is clear, very pale intensity, ruby colour, NOT róse pink at all. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of light red cherries, strawberries, dust stony rocks minerality, hint of light earth with air. Developing. On the palate, dry, juicy high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), low tannins, medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of fruity sweet red cherries, ripe strawberry, orange peel and juice, touch of salinity with …

Chatham. VERY popular, as it should be. Plenty red enough for those who "only like red" and well-tolerated by someone who avoids red.

Holding up just fine. Could want for a touch more acidity, but quite versatile.

As great as it was, this (L06923) has improved in the 16 months since my previous bottle. For a "light red" this has a very big aromatic and flavor structure, with bright red fruits and bittersweet orange, a firm structure, and lots of acidity. It is sappy, savory, and a great food wine. Drink to 2028 ? Excellent QPR.

Ripe and fruity, a bit heavy and basically a red wine. $45 at 2A.

This is one heck of an impressive Rosé. Looks more like a red than a Rosé, but has all the acid and freshness one could want. Beautiful fresh, wild berries. Bravo! I love it! 5-12-16-9: 92/100.

Delicious, as usual. I know other people age this, and I have too, but it is so undeniable where it is I'm not sure I ever will on purpose.

Vibrant watermelon pink. Salty mineral underpinning to bright fruit with an herbal shell. This has real density and length and is great at the table.

PnP (I think it would have been even better with an hour of air in decanter, but that's picking nits, I really enjoyed it). PaulusLoZebra's note is spot on. My note/experience is pretty much identical. I, too, will wait till later this year, or next, before opening the next one. Quite a wine, lots of body, lots of freshness. 14,0% abv. For the purity and value equation, it's highly recommended+ https://www.ItalianWine.blog

I love big pink wines, or very light reds, and the definition is always in the eye of the drinker. For me this is a big pink wine, and I love it. It has big aromas and flavors of bright red fruits and sweet citrus, and a lean structure built on lip-smacking acidity and a savory, intense, minerality. A great food wine. A delicious wine every year, this (L06923) strikes me as needing a year or two in the cellar …

Regal Crown Sour Red Cherry Candies R Us. Which is just fine for me, if maybe a bit too tart compared to the fruit. 10 minutes in Wake Up Wine. 89+ upped to a 90 based on QPR.

VC Wednesday night group (Ypsilanti, MI) : Fruit punch aromas soar from the glass. The palate shows lovely cherry fruit with some iron in the mix too. Would be terrific with duck cooked rare/medium rare.

After LOVING the 2020 of this, and blowing through my case already, had to jump on an offer for the highly praised 2022. I'll have to admit...day one had me scratching my head? The wine was VERY sour and punchy, both in a high toned vinegar-esk, and fruit punch way! Really hard to drink even. Day two...different story! The wine has calmed down and shows no vinegar twang...the fruit is SO bright and vibrant...fresh crushed strawberries, cherries, raspberries...still TART and …

This is stuff is uber tasty. Drippy red cherry and sour cherry fruit. Starting to show its age a bit, as tannins are resolved and round. Just easy to crush on a warm Feb night. Under $20 is stealing for this quality.

Sour red fruit, just enough tannin to make it serious, satisfying puckering grip on your mouth. I am going to buy as much of this as is available in my area. This is the very definition of an elite QPR wine. Works best with a slight chill.

So sad to drink my last bottle. Get your nads on any of these you ever run into. Beautiful color and aromas of cherries and strawberry. Tannins are pesent and palpable, giving it great body.

Cerasuolo is not early harvested Montepulciano. It has a more important meaning I am being told. Dark color but super bright and glossy. Red fruit that is not sweet - sweet and sour and crunchy. The freshness of the tannins and a biting texture is the idea. That is fresh and pretty and fun. '17 was a super hot vintage but the vineyard is very talented in express the vibrancy. Not skin contract in this vintage, just free run.

Abbruzzo study (Chicago, IL) : It's not the most complex wine, but there's something eminently crushable here. Red fruit that is slightly candied, but not too sweet either. Plenty of juicy freshness, with some cherry (I swear, it's not the suggestion from the name) and strawberry elements.

Ok, rose, but not rose. Possibly a light Pinot. Regardless, a great summer wine that will go from seafood to beef, and is appropriate on the patio and at the dining room table. Buy this one!

PnP Pale ruby. More like a light Pinot than a Rose. Burst of crips raspberry. Delicious and refreshing. A Rose for red wine drinkers. Best rose ever.

This is a wonderful Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo from Tiberio, made entirely from 50+ year old indigenous Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes, original and old clones in order to guarantee the identity and the traditional flavors of Cerasuolo wine. No press juice is used, just free run juice. Bright pinkish-red color. Fresh, pure aromas and flavors of red cherry, raspberry and orange peel. Very juicy with outstanding definition, lovely acid-fruit balance, crisp, clean, floral finish with sneaky concentration.
