Made by Canadian Pascal Marchand. How are the wines of Burgundy so much better than pretty much anywhere else? Medium+ intensity with honeyed fruit, vanilla without excess oakiness, and apples. Complex. Mouthwatering acidity with excellent balance of grape and winemaking. Huge length. Had with lobster and king crab. Doesn't get much better.
