Opened the bottle two hours before drinking on a weeknight with sliced ribeye on arugula with rosemary toasts. Hints of smoke, some ripe fruit, but I felt like this was quite tight for longer than expected, despite the noted open time. Nothing to write home about here. In my opinion, slightly too tannic for a Malbec Reserva. With that said, for 10 euros, you could do worse.

Muted at first, but opened up nicely in about 15-20 minutes. Typical Malbec notes, dark fruits with spice. Needs food. Good QPR.

Terroirist Sample Tasting - Argentinian Malbec : SRP: $12. On the nose, it’s classic Malbec but a bit more refreshing – blueberries, blackberries, and lavender, along with some seawater, vanilla bean ice cream, and spicy oak. The wine has a nice floral lift, and the palate is impressively balanced. A great QPR.

Popped and poured on a weeknight. Nose was of bright fruits and a little bit of band-aid. Not any substantial legs. Tasted of lemon grass and some red fruits.
