Opened and drank over several nights. It wasn't until the third night that the wined opened up with a nose of lavender, smoke and jammy red fruit. The fruit came out on the palate with a nice blend of tannins. I wasn't very interested in the wine the first couple of nights but after the third night, I wish I had more bottles.

Decanted 2 hrs, dense purple color, nose of alcohol and spice, medium mouthfeel, medium length finish with some oak/alcohol/spice, minimal fruit, good QPR at $12, last bottle.

This needed a decant but after opened up to a nice Malbec. Additional cellar time would not hurt it at all...

It was a little green; maybe it should be held a little longer

Tasty, big fruit. Poured through aerator because no time to decant. I am not sure that it will get any better than at this point.

Big fruit. Nice acidity. balanced. Overall this is a very nice rich Malbec. Likely at its peak. Great value.

Popped & Poured, detected notes of oil, blueberry and dried cherries. Wine got much richer and smoother as it breathed and perhaps warmed a bit too. A fine value play.

Heavy with raspberry and oak flavors, but a little syrupy and woody for my taste these days. Those looking for big flavor at a low price should enjoy it.

Split this bottle over two nights - first night, some dark fruit and malbec tannins which quick disappeared and seemed thin. second night, the fruit became lighter maybe strawberry / raspberry. The tannins are better integrated and the taste is longer, doesn't seem thin. So give it a long decant if your going to drink it now. Maybe even the Cameron 24h method...

Non distinct - light mouth feel, good nose, no evidence of tannins. Very blend. Both the Malbec and the Tempranio

Not bad, but far from a favorite. Blackberry to the nose and other dark fruit. Deep purple color, and lingering finish. Spicy taste perhaps more than strong. Perhaps peppery tasting,

Decanted 3 hrs, dense crimson color, aromatic nose, medium mouthfeel, quick finish with minimal tannins/oak, not as tart as my previous note two months ago, agree with others that this is low risk weekday wine.

Very nice Malbec at a great price point. If you can get a case, don't hesitate. Great weekday wine.

88-89. This is dry, earthy, and balanced veering more toward the savory and less toward fruit forward. I would drink a lot more malbec if they were made in this more classical style(a bit like a fabre montmayou) versus a lot of sweet/ripe ones that are not my style. Still nothing memorable and not quite 90 points, but a solid value.

Decanted 2 hrs, bright semi-transparent ruby color, light nose, light mouthfeel but long finish, velvety tannins yet crisp, not as fruity as expected from CH write-up, not your typical jammy Malbec, liked better than Lot 275 Malbec.

Decanted for 45 minutes give or take. Could use longer decanting or maybe just needs to a mature a but more. Still very drinkable at the moment, but I think I will wait another 6 months before having another bottle in case it gets better. A great value in all events.

Decanted an hour, similar notes to last Sept, good structure, finish seemed too acidic/tart, reduced a couple pts, wonder how this will pair with Superbowl party BBQ?, surprised not more CH fan notes on this wine.

Poured through Nuance, decanted 3 hrs, dense purple color, light cherry/oak nose, medium mouthfeel, medium length finish with light tannins, went well with Manchengo cheese, wife thought it was very drinkable, not as much work as big Cab, will buy more at $14.
