Domaine la Folie Lucé Saumur-Champigny Encore

P&p; drinking well right away, much more open and cohesive than it was on release, but continues to improve with air. Fresh, sappy/leafy, ashy/smoky, full of intense 2014 Loire Cab Franc character. Like fresh-squeezed cherry and raspberry juice infused with fresh plants, black peppercorns, and a healthy pinch of ash. Fairly firm tannins and plenty of acidity, managing to work well together. Juicy, tasty/moreish, highly drinkable. Good stuff and a good value. Seems like drink or hold.

Peu d'arômes de poivrons dans cette bouteille. On sent un peu de Bretts... Moins qu'une autre bouteille bue il y a quelques mois (celle-ci était déviante), cette fois-ci le vin demeure agréable et accompagne bien un filet de veau aux épices de Montréal. Les arômes de fruits noirs ne dominent pas car il y a des tannins. Un beau vin, encore un peu jeune mais qui se boit bien avec les grillades.

Nez très représentatif, poivron et framboises. Belle bouche fraiche, souple et si agréable, facile à boire. Love it!

P&p; fairly closed, needs 90+ minutes of air in the bottle to start opening up much. Nicely ashy/mossy/minty/leafy/twiggy aromas, together with tight darkish fruit. Similar on the palate; sappy, somewhat tannic, with nice fresh fruit, plenty of typicity, good acidity. Not totally together at this point, seems quite young, but with air it's drinking well; good stuff; comes across as "serious" for its price.
