Ste. Chapelle Cabernet Franc Ice Wine

Medium salmon color, with moderate nose of strawberries. Sweet with medium-full body, lively acid and low soft tannins. Flavorful strawberry and red fruit. Medium finish. Not too sweet! Yummy wine.

Nose: strawberry liquor, raspberries, and yeast Taste: sugary cranberry juice, stawberries and an aged champagne quality. Tastes like a mix of cranberry juice with a 25 year old champagne I had once, without the bubbles. Very interesting. Certainly tasty, not overly sweet, but a little unclear what to pair it with, not quite sweet enough to be a stand alone dessert wine, but not quite acidic enough for anything more than a very light appetizer.
