Barolo is a lovely ruby; nose is tobacco, mushroom. Tannins are velvet but still a young feel at the end. Dried cherry, white pepper. Drank a bit early.

Accomasso Tasting plus some great Barolo Pirates (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany) : *** all wines tasted blind *** Glass: Zwiesel 1872 Moment Pinot Clean, medium gruby-garnet color. Clean, classic Barolo nose, dense, spicy, fat, speck. Dry, high acidity, high, mellow tannin. Very juicy, lots of amarena cherry, spicy, lean, very long. Young, needs time. 92-93+
