Really singing right now. Frankly surprised how well this has evolved over the last year. Tannins are still quite sturdy and provide structure to the ripe fruit character of the wine. Yes, this is not a subtle, nuanced wine but it’s a very good example of its genre - especially at this price point.

This was just about perfect tonight. Structure, balance and fruit were all in sync with just the right amount of oak and tannins all perfectly integrated.

Beautiful salinity note supported by fresh blueberries and blackberries with a hint of pepper and chocolate. Tannins are medium plus with a chalky character. Overall, I still think this wine needs another year or two to fully integrate, but it’s drinking well now if you wish to try.

Ripe and sweet black cherry and blackberry compote fruit with chocolate and a touch of green herbs. Medium acidity. Med- tannins. Generally big, hot and sweet. It was too much for burgers on the grill. Would match with barbecue or grilled beef. Big points for hedonistic, minimal points for elegance.

A strong amount of acid and tannis, feels sharp, i get notes of tart blueberry or raspberry and maybe some gravel/stone/minerals/graphite

What even was this? A nearly opaque semi-sweet substance remotely reminding of wine? Yes, it smelled like a wine. But the bittersweet, low-acidic taste made it so cloying. A thick Sangria? How is it supposed to consume such a drink? On its own, I couldn't take more than a couple of sips, but the pairing with food seemed impossible. However, I fully understand that some may like such a style, but I refuse to join them.

The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blueberry. It tastes like cedar and oak. The body is full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity. Tannins are present with forward fruit I believe this will improve with some time in the bottle Will try again in 2024

WIML90 Tasted non blind. Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of blueberry, thatch and plum. Flavors of black cherry, black berry and plum. Medium acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink with air or hold.

I decant all my wines through a Vin-aire as a matter of SOP. They generally do not get too much time to settle but I ended up leaving this for about 3 hrs before tucking in. It was in a place you don't normally get with this wine - smooth to the point of almost elegant. Flavors are well documented in other posts but there was great harmony and balance to it. Wonderful stuff....worth another point!!!

A tasty big sweet fruit blend that doesn't have the balance and structure of Clio, but does have a similar flavor profile. A little more cab, like Clio might improve this wine.

We tasted this side by side with Clio. The wines are the same grape, same location (Vineyards are nearby) and same year. only difference is cost : clio is 50% more expensive Both drank very similar. Clio won out by a hair but when you factor in price, 18 meses becomes a very solid buy
