Tasted in a group of 9 people. Two people liked it, the rest didn’t. The problem is clearly due to the dreadful, rainy 2021 vintage. This one has a promising, nice scent but drinks like water plus lemon juice. Incredibly acidic and very little beyond the acids. Pop and pour, served in a Riedel Veritas Syrah Glass. Pale straw yellow colour. Nose: The wine starts off with fruity aromas of grapefruit and lemon zest. A few moments later, notes of petrichor, crushed stones, orange blossom and forest honey appear in the glass. Herbal nuances on the way out. Palate: Grapefruit and lemon start things off on the palate, notes of crushed stones, savoury herbs and maritime nuances follow right afterwards. Very fresh acidity and slight viscosity. On …

Broad on the palate with aromas of pineapple and other sweet tropical fruits followed by grapefruit. Medium to full-bodied wine backed up with good acidity. In a very nice place now. If my memory serves me right this was much better showing than the previous one in 12/2020, 3 years ago, when this was tightly coiled and did not give much away.

Delicious stuff. This is very 2021, and very trocken, citrus, green pear and crunchy stone fruits abound, plenty of mild herbal and leafy tones too. Long on stones and tart fruits, this is a Riesling for oysters. Young and primary, this will be more interesting in a year or two.

Medium+ intense aromas of tangerine, white grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, nectarine, blossom, biscuit, white pepper, wet stone, sea salt. 12% Alc., medium yellow color. Nose: Subdued white and yellow fruit, mainly pear. Palate: Watery, subdued white fruit, touch pear, touch melon, slightly reductive, subdued flavors and impression like behind a milky glass. Super chalky on the nose with notes of apple, peach and spice. Very expressive with a very nice nostril-stinging sensation. On the palate positively dry with lovely concentration and a chiselled mouthfeel. Beautifully structured with great energy. Slightly nervous but not tight in any way that would take away from the enjoyment. Possesses a superb savory mix of chalk and fruit. Not weighty at all and the 12.5% ABV is perfectly in check. Mouthwatering on the finish.
