Dry Creek Vineyard Chardonnay Russian River Valley

Golden straw color. On the nose there is a buttery oakiness that hits first. If you can get past that there is apple and pear fruit with a hint of honey on the finish. A little citrus as well. The palate is very blah. There is not much fruit, no acidity or minerality with some heat on the finish. The wine disapears on the finish. Overall this wine is thin and tasteless.

Very solid Chardonnay with nice use of oak. The nose and palate also featured minerals, apple and almonds. On the finish it had a buttery note along with good flavor. Well done.

Really impressive for the price. Light oak, good balance.
