Burzi, Langhe Nebbiolo, Runcaja

Sadly one of my Last bottles of this 2017 Nebbiolo, which has been terrific in all vintages. The 2017 has quite a bit of power and drive; I like the drinking flow and juicy fruit, displaying tart red cherry, pomegranate, rasberry liquor, dark flowers and churned asphalt & soil. Like all Burzi's wine this is made for lovers of pure and precise wines.

A «simple» Langhe Nebbiolo, really showcasing the La Morra elegance. Burzi had become a favourite amongst the young Piedmont winemakers. The Runcaja has subtle aromas of rose petal, anise, sour red cherries, rosehip and sage. Fresh acidity, and slightly spicy red fruit on the tongue - anise and cherry stone bitter notes. Medium body, elegant dry tannins. Balanced finish. Easy drinking, but serious. Love this one.

Burzi Langhe Nebbiolo 2017. Litt stum på duft. Åpner seg litt med luft, men ikke det helt store fyrverkeriet. Sødmefull og bløt frukt. Typisk 2017 - hadde gjerne sett litt mer struktur her. En god del finkornede sedimenter som fungerer som tørrende tanniner. Brukbar vin som ikke fremkaller de helt store følelsene. 85p
