Surprisingly, I found this wine not overly aromatic - subtle dark fruit tones, but upon tasting - I noticed the pronounced spiced cherry/strawberry flavors give way to light touches of “wood-ish” oak and cedar - smooth finish and easy drinking - the second day of tasting revealed strong fig tastes with robust tobacco leaf - good value wine
