Dusty nose with raw meat, sawdust, and dry red fruit notes. Rustic berry flavors with a ferrous minerality and a strong herbal streak. Medium finish of earth, peppery notes, and muddled red fruits and light oak. Nice enough as a daily drinker but not a good QPR at the effective $30 price. Sour nose. Upfront stewed fruits, Then, cinnamon. Very slight acidity. Very slight tannin. I want to hate this wine--it just doesn't have any complexity or sophistication--but it seems to be growing on me. It is so easy to drink.
