A point down from the previous bottle last month. This is a great dry Lambrusco and there aren’t many of those around, but I wish it had some more depth. Very good though.

Tasted like cheap Italian table wine with some bubbles added…smelled like it too. Too bad, was really looking forward to a legit Old World Lambrusco to remind us of our time living on the Mediterranean coast. $17 thru Garagiste - I think I overpaid.

I prefer dry lambruscos over the more common semi dry and this hit that sweet spot well. It didn’t offer as much depth or flavors of black olive or balsamic as the modena types, but this was easy to pair and versatile

Pleasant enough again. It has its time and place and does much better with food than on its own. Also better on a warm summer day versus a cold winter night. The color is gorgeous, but do I wish for a more persistent fizz. The bouquet and palate are easy to enjoy, though the finish is also brief and simple. 4+10+15+7= 86

Love the nose, palate was as one would expect from lambrusco with perhaps a bit more depth and complexity. Enough tannic bite to hold up to charcuterie.

Beautiful pitch dark ruby color with a fine, light fizz. Blue and black berry flavor riding on a slight bed of acidity and light tannins. Tonight with a paella of shrimp, mussels, chicken, and boorewors sausage. This may be the most easy-to-drink adult beverage known to man.
