Sonoma (and one Napa) Wineries; 2/13/2022-2/18/2022 (Healdsburg, CA and Napa, CA) : Nose is slightly funky, ripe orchard fruits, slight fermentation notes but not in a bad way. Palate is a bit sharp with Paris wine bar notes, yeasty and orange peel. Very fresh, delicious natural wine that just tastes good.

Pretty straightforward. Well-balanced but not especially layered or complex, a far cry from last year’s batch. Tart, a little apple-y. Fine. Lacking the bitter and herbal notes of previous editions that made it so interesting.
