40% is aged in neutral oak for 10 months, sur lie. The remaining 60% goes into stainless, and doesn't go through malolactic fermentation. The goal is to bring production of the Chard from 10,000 cases down to 2,000. Pale yellow color. Notes of apple, coconut and tropical fruit with soft toast and vanilla tones. Medium bodied with flavors of tropical fruit and mineral. Pleasant, but finishes on the short side. 86-88.
