Visintini Friulano Amphora

Organic. Pale gold, with aromas of bruised apple, ripe lemon/orange, beer, sourdough, earth, wet stone. Dry, with med to med (+) acidity and alcohol (14% but seems lower). The palate is slightly chewy, with a hint of tannin and a slight phenolic bitterness. Overall, it is med (+) bodied, boldly flavored with a med (+), mineral-driven finish. Drinking well at 4 yrs, with additional aging potential. One of the more approachable and versatile "orange" wines I have had.
