Vega de Yuco Malvasía Volcánica Lanzarote Yaiza Esencia Blanco Seco

Second bottle, brought home from the airport. Remain seriously impressed with this. My friend (also WSET educated) was also very impressed. Exceeded expectations for price with its fresh fruit profile but backbone of volcanic minerality. Worked exceptionally well with Chinese food. I will remember this producer if we ever go back to Lanzarote.

Really lovely. minerals ++ on the nose and the palate, lemon, lime, wet stones, and you get the sense of the volcanic soil it was grown in. We had this with asian food and it went down a treat!

Stony minerals and a hint of citrus on the nose. Medium bodied, dry and very crisp, showing good mineral notes with lemony flavors and firm acidity. Very elegant. Had a bottle with the seafood Paella at Il Capitan restaurant in San Agustin and it was a perfect match.
