Too late, gone over the hill

White Burgundy Tasting : Served double blind following the 1997 vintage of the same wine. The 1998 had sulphur on the nose that was almost overpowering. Beneath the sulphur, citrus and pear fruit were trying to peek out. Better in the mouth than on the nose, with citrus, mineral, bees wax, and, again, sulphur. I was thinking this was a few years older older than it was.
