Bit of old apple on the nose; lots of acidity that borders on sharp; like biting into a juicy lemon that tingles your cheeks and lips; palate has a strong rockiness and woodiness; lightly tart lemon custard on the finish.

The estate name has changed as Sebastien Coustaret did not want it to be confused with the Bordenave estate, cousin related if I remember well... Unsure. Anyways the wines are getting better and better, with use of Biodynamics, AB certified for sure from now on. Petit Manseng mostly, with Courbu and Camaralet. Nose of light reduction, a bit restrained, then opening up on yellow flowers and med+ intensity of tropical fruits, a bit of mango and passion, nothing really pushy …
