Tons of structure. Will benefit from more time in the cellar.

Haven’t left a note on this wine since 2015 and now I have just one bottle left! Drunk this after an insanely amazing Harlan 1997 (98+ points) and it showed completely brilliantly. Very classic blackberry profile, clove, cassis, super well balanced and long. Such an amazing wine still a bargain if you can find any.

Cinnamon on the nose which was so intriguing. Lovely wine drinking perfectly now. Great body, cork is in perfect condition. Blackberry and mulled spices on the pallet.

Drinking perfectly right now and so interesting. Plenty of spice on both the nose and palate, cinnamon on the palate which matched the texture of the very fine tannins. Lovely red and black fruits almost nectar-like. Great balance and long finish. Thank you RyanPark City for sharing this one and another example of a wine that was big enough to enjoy at altitude.

First tried this vintage at the Winery last year. It is a personal favorite. premier grapes from a must experience in-person winery. I am hesitant to gush about it here as I know you nerds will read this and go after it. My buddy bought it out of my fridge on Saturday paying an absurd premium to cork it and share it with our guests. Happy to oblige. It's a special bottle. Don't buy it.

Additional time has helped. A nice wine which is big, fruity a touch hot with alcohol, but generally balanced and enjoyable.

Blood red. Fruit-forward nose. Cherries, currants, camphor and chocolate were the primary notes. The cherry was pronounced at first, after decanting, however it was sweet without bridging into cough syrup. This resolved and became more integrated -- and the finish lengthened. The wine started stratified but became more a mosaic as it opened. This was different than what I remember at the winery. It has evolved in an unusual way -- and that's not a bad thing.

The '07 silky mouthful of wine. Great texture and depth. Big and elegant at the same time. Well made.

My fourth note in this wine and it's still brilliant. Definitely showing signs of graceful ageing - in a good way!

My third bottle and my third 95 points. This is the perfect wine for people wary of the over-Oaked too huge napa cabs of others. The Gaston is very refined. Almost steely. Just a stunning wine is all regards. 9 left

Totally a 95 point wine. The thing about this wine is its' technical brilliance. It sounds a bit wierd but it is just really precise. Fantastic depth of flavour. Huge length. Massively enjoyable. Bought a case of both this and the Palmaz CabSav blend after a tour and tasting at the vineyard and both are absoluteley eceptional. Will so enjoy both these wines over the next 15 years.

Peppery, oaky, and dusty nose. Brick colored. Great length with dark cherry and blackberry on the palate. Firm tannins. Balanced oak. Slightly hot. Very nice medium to full bodied wine.

Very strong effort. One of the top 7 or 8 wines I have consumed in the last year or so. I bought at the winery and wish I had more. Smooth - great fruit. Strawberry on the grip - a little apple ont he nose among other things. I think it is hitting its peak and should be consummed in the next 12-18 months.

First had the wine at the winery. I was very impressed at the time, and bought3 bottles. Had a bottle tonight with a friend and was even more impressed, and sorry I did not buy more. The wine was as close to perfect as you could expect from a Cali Cab. Smooth Cherry cream, faded to a elegant balanced mid palate, with the perfect fine grained tannic finish. This is a real pedegree. Rudd, Tierra Roja, Hundred Acre, and Hillside …

Went to a private tasting at the winery. Wow what a tour. Now for the wine. Very complex yet has a refind value to it. It is one of the strongest Cabs, yet not over bold. For the value one of the best wines I rate it better than the 2007 Revana.

This was my favorite of their lineup. The vines are from the Bachus clone. Rich cherry and plum fruit. This had a more herbal nose than the estate cab. More complex and intellectual. I would say the wine is pure and sexy.
